Formerly known as ‘SAE’, Shelton started out as a humble business in a shop along Geylang, An authorized Carrier dealer that focused on providing residential air-conditioning.

With over 10 years in the business, Shelton moved to a bigger office in Ubi to meet the growing demands of our business, including the need to provide industrial solutions to clients. Shelton (S) Pte Ltd was incorporated in 1997.

Acquired dealership rights for Carel, which provides cost effective solutions to air-conditioners.

Evolved and focus the business in industrial solutions in process cooling and process heating. Exported our 1st Chiller unit.

Shelton 1st Sales Distributor abroad in Indonesia.

1st in Asia (Ex Japan) to introduce Variable Speed Inverter Chillers and Heat Recovery Chiller, developed and designed by founder Mr Tan himself. This innovation was supported by Spring Singapore.

Started development on Heat Recovery Air Handling Units (HR AHU) to provide a comprehensive humidity control and Heat recovery solutions

In line with Shelton’s rapid expansion, Shelton purchased a factory in Kaki Bukit to accommodate the growing scale of the business. And shortly expanded factory space by acquiring neighbouring unit.

Incorporated a sales office to reach out to Europe Market. Supported by IE Singapore.
